LOL Haven't read her .
I am stalled-out on The Historian. Just have no patience for it right now as it is moving soooo slow. Oh well. Instead I'm reading Tribute by Nora Roberts. Anxiously awaiting Seduce Me At Sunrise by LK! |

I'm going to be starting the new Meg Cabot that comes out in January tonight...it's Princess Mia's historical novel and all proceeds are going to
Green Peace, it's a pretty cool deal.

I'm reading JQ's Mr. Cavendish, I Presume, but it's slow-going because I'm bored. It feels like Deja Vu, since this book takes place
at the exact same time as her previous book. I feel like all I'm doing is a re-read. This parallel book thing isn't holding my attention at all. Very
disappointing as I've never been bored with a JQ book before!

Hey Angela,
I really enjoyed that book because even though the same things were happening, I wanted to know what the heck Thomas and Amelia were doing (when I was reading the first book) so for me, it was good to finally see and understand Thomas and Amelia because truth be told, I didn't really like them in the first book. This book changed the way that I saw Thomas and made me appreciate him as a hero better.

I just read the most awesome book ... THOSE WHO SAVE US by Jenna Blum. A great book about a German mother and daughter who survived WWII and how it changed
their lives.
Now I am on to something a little more fluffy ... Code Name: Bikini by Christina Skye. |

I just finished Mr. Cavendish, I Presume by JQ! LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!! The best JQ in a long time, IMO. I am pleasantly surprised because I
really didn't like the other book in this twosome ... it was just blah for me. Absolutely loved this one, though ... loved Thomas and Amelia and thought
their story was very unique and sweet. Yeah!
Now I'm anxiously awaiting NR's The Pagan Stone ... which is due out at the end of the month! |

Hi Ladies!
I just finished several books by Suzanne Enoch that LindaLou recommended. I have a few books now to read - maybe I'll read The Mistress Diaries. It looks good. |

Patti,
I thought The Mistress Diaries looked really good, too. Missy, What LL did you read? ALL her books are..ehem..adult. LOL Some worse than others, though. I just finished a novella by Phyllis Bourne Williams. It was ok, but the heroine annoyed me. It's about an older, retired couple who's trying to rekindle their marriage, but the wife let's her kids take all her attention and basically ignores her husband. I didn't think she came to her senses soon enough. I think I'm going to read the latest LLG now. I love her. Angela, I just read a book by Barbara Bretton called Casting Spells I think you might like. It's got a lot of witchcraft-y type stuff in it. I liked it.

I decided to read Suzanne Enoch's Sin & Sensibility first, and so far I like it. I'll read The Mistress Diaries next.

Sin and Sensibility by Suzanne Enoch, let me know if you like that one. I want to read it. Let me know how you like The Mistress Diaries too, that one should
be really interesting.
Right now, I'm reading a bunch of things. I'm reading, Everything You Need to Know About Writing a Romance Novel, I'm reading Smart and Sexy by Jill Shalvis and I'm reading No Plot? No Problem by Chris Baty, the founder of the writing event that I'm participating in, National Novel Writing Month aka NANOWRIMO. All of the books are really good so I'm just learning a whole lot. It's great fun.
