It's like a ghost town around here - how is everyone?? I'm good - working hard and taking care of the kids. Not much new going on - I went to a real estate auction this weekend - that was an experience lol. Didn't buy anything but it was entertaining! They try to keep the excitement high and it's quite amusing. Anyway somebody post something! I have been coming on about once a week but have seen no action as of late. We are doing well. Had a crazy-busy summer both professionally and personally. So glad it is fall. Doing more home renovation work (laundry room!) and have soccer games every weekend. My book club is still going strong and we've read some good stuff ... stuff I wouldn't normally read. Saw The Women Saturday with several gals from BC ... we all really liked it (don't believe the critics!). Miss chatting with y'all!

Sorry we've been neglecting this place but with our blog taking off the way that it has, we've been pretty busy over there. You guys are more than welcome to join us on our blog, it's always a good time over there. My life consists of work, school (brenna), books, blogs and right now, soccer. Brenna is in 4th grade now and she's playing soccer and kicking butt too! She's enjoying sports and all that junk so I guess I'm happy. What's everyone reading these days? I'm reading an Anthology with Stephanie Laurens, Jacquie D'Alessandro, Mary Balogh and Candace Hern called It happened One Night and it's pretty good so far. I've recently discovered Jill Shalvis and frickin' love her to pieces, she's straight up contemporary and perfect for what I'm in the mood for right now. She has a blog as well that is hilarious, you guys should check her out. Would you recommend her? As for me, I've just been busy with the baby. I think I'm getting the hang of this mommy stuff. Also, September is when Mike has a long break between quarters so we have been taking a lot of little vacations. Fun! But now it's October and school is back in, so back to real life. I'm definitely looking forward to my favorite Holiday, Halloween. Cade's gonna be a little pirate.

She has a series coming out in January that looks really good and I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy. It's about a trio of brothers who run a Wilderness type Adventure company and the first hero's name is Cam Wilder, YUM! I'll check into it and see. HI ALL!!! Sorry I've been MIA, but, get this, I lost the link to the board. LOL I know I'm a dork. I never memorized the Yuku one and then I deleted my favorites. Anyway, I'm so glad to see everyone! I've missed you all. I got laid off about a month and a half ago, so I've been playing a SAHM for awhile. Vacation time is over now, though, and I'm seriously looking for a job. I'm hoping to hear back from a couple places by next week and hope to have a job by the end of the month. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Mark and the kids are doing well. Not much to report with them. Missy, I've read LL. I'm heading over to the other thread now. --- I like my men how I like my coffee....ground up and in the freezer ---
